The inspiration of lavender began in the winter of 2023. A test row of 20 beautiful lavender plants went into the ground that Spring. They thrived in our soil and our climate, zone 5. Maxwell Farm entered a new chapter. In May of 2024, our first field of 420 lavender plugs was planted. In May of 2025, our second field of 680 lavender plugs was planted. Our 20 aromatic rows of lavender overlook the beautiful scenic Little Delaware River valley in the heart of Delhi, Delaware County. We celebrate the beauty and versatility of lavender.
Walk through our beautiful, aromatic rows of lavender consisting of fourteen different varieties of lavender, grown with care and specifically chosen for their color, fragrance, aromatics, and culinary attributes. Bee-ware, lavender attracts beneficial pollinators like honeybees and butterflies.

Our Lavender Season will OPEN this year with our ‘CELEBRATE LAVENDER’ ANNUAL FESTIVAL, Saturday and Sunday, July 18-19, 10a-4p. The festival includes: Live Music, Food, Local Vendors, a Kidz Zone/Lawn Games, and a River Walk.
Entrance Fee – $2/person, Children Under 5 — FREE
