Founded in 2018, Jubilee Farms is proudly identified as a female-owned farm. It is located in scenic Schoharie County just off of I-88 in the rolling hills in Richmondville. This diverse 19 acre farm which includes a 100 year old barn is home to Huacaya alpacas, Babydoll sheep, German Angora rabbits, and a plethora of happy chickens.
Lavender varieties grow in a beautiful lavender field next to plots of sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos and others which are celebrated in festivals throughout their growing seasons and are available in hand cut bouquets and take-home arrangements. All of the lavender and cut flowers are proudly New York State Grown and Certified. A growing variety of lavender products are made with the lavender grown on the farm including soap, cookies, sachets, tea and candles and are available for purchase.
Jubilee Farms operates with an intentional emphasis on sustainability. NO pesticides, only natural fertilizer and composting are used. In addition to the annual Lavender (July), Sunflower (September) and Family Farm Day (August) Festivals, beginning in the spring of 2023, Jubilee Farms will be introducing a variety of workshops,
including floral arranging, soap making, candle making, as well as spinning and fiber workshops. Additionally, Jubilee Farms will be offering “glamping” in the newly furnished Jubilee Tiny Cottage as well as hosting farm-stay weekends!
