Brush Brook Farm
Brush Brook Farm is family owned and operated. We harvest certified organic hay, raise pigs and grass fed beef.
Our grass-fed beef cattle consume only certified organic grasses. They freely graze on certified organic pasture on the family farm. When the grazing season ends and the weather turns cold, they are fed dry hay harvested from the farm and other organic grass products. We do not feed any grain, use hormones or unnecessary medication.
Brush Brook Farm's pigs enjoy the freedom of being raised outdoors where they can roam and root freely. They are fed a non-medicated grain mash, whey from a local cheese maker, vegetable scraps from our kitchen and excess from the family garden.
Our beef and pork are processed at a UDSA facility and is available in wholes and halves and retail cuts. Purchase our meats at the Delhi Farmers Market on Wednesdays and at the Dirty Girl Goat Farm Farmers Market in Andes on Saturdays. Retail cuts of both beef and pork are also available for purchase at the farm.
Brush Brook Farm’s hay is certified organic by NOFA-NY. The hay is dry baled in large square bales weighing between 750 and 800 pounds per bale. Our hay is a mix of native grasses including brome, Timothy and orchard grass. Hay is available at the farm by the truck load or single bale.
