American Farmland Trust is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to protecting farmland, promoting sound farming practices, and keeping farmers on the land. Some of AFT New York’s exciting new initiatives include bringing local foods into institutions, working with farmers to improve soil health, and connecting retiring farmers and non-farming landowners with new and next generation farmers.
