Apple Tree Trimming Workshop on May 16thApple trees need care year-round, and good pruning is key to healthy trees and great harvests.At this workshop, Charles Hurd will demonstrate how he uses a variety of his favorite pruning tools on different types of apple trees, while sharing practical tips you can use at home.We will discuss seasonal pruning, best practices, and how to use pruning as a natural way to increase apple growth and production.We have 2 sessions: one Adult Only at 11:00 – 12:30pm and one at 1:00 -2:30pm. For the Family-Friendly Class, anyone sitting in the barn and participating in the workshop is $24 per person. Any additional children or adults who will be playing outside during the workshop are $12 per person (play-outside entry must be purchased in advance). Children under 3 are free, but must remain on a lap or in a stroller if attending the workshop.
