This week’s market is the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market, located at, 101 Main Street, Cooperstown, NY 13326. The Cooperstown Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday year round and Tuesdays July-September.
The Cooperstown Farmers’ Market, founded by Otsego 2000 in 1991, supports local growers, producers, and artisans and offers a direct connection between producer and consumer. A Saturday ritual for many, the Farmers’ Market is a welcoming place of community. The market draws over thirty vendors from within a fifty mile radius, providing a wonderful array of local foods and hand-crafted items.
The Market continues its commitment to local food access for all by participating in SNAP/EBT, the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, and the Cooperstown Food Pantry Market Voucher program. Customers shopping with SNAP benefit from a local Cooperstown Lions Club SNAP Match of up to $20 per market for SNAP eligible food, plus a Double Up Food Bucks match of up to $20 per market for fruit and vegetables. Your food budget goes further at the Farmers’ Market.

The only heated indoor farmers’ market in the region, the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market operates year round on Saturdays, rain or shine. Enjoy live music May-December.
The Market welcomes customers shopping with SNAP and offers two matching programs, so a $20 SNAP spend provides $60 worth of healthy local food.
Free kid’s activities offered on the first Saturday of the month, along with special events, like Zucchini Day, Pumpkin Day, Honeybee Day, Berry Day, and a special Holiday Market.

Many are surprised to discover just how much of their weekly shopping can be done at the Market. Each week, you’ll find a wonderful variety of local products: fresh produce, pasture-raised meat, farmstead cheeses and charcuterie, yogurt, jam, pesto, bread, baked goods, eggs, plants, maple syrup, honey, coffee, fresh cut flowers, local wine and spirits, CBD products, paninis and sandwiches, seasonal soups, and takeaway meals. You will also find a range of crafts and household goods: handmade beeswax candles, handwoven baskets, local ceramics, custom wood workings, herbal products, handmade soaps, skincare, fine art prints, handmade glassware and knits.
