Tongore Brook Farm
Tongore Brook Farm is a small family-owned solar-PV and geothermal systems-based farm and agriculture research facility dedicated to sustainable development, environmental adaptability, resilient local food systems, and four-season farming in diverse extreme climates. We occupy 10% of or farmlands for greenhouse-based USDA Certified Organic microgreen production and maintain 90% of the land for USDA Certified Organic Forest-based carbon-sequestration, and farm-the-forest for organic log-grown shiitake production, and production of single tree-tap maple products. We reliably grow and deliver over three-dozen different organic microgreen products to small stores, supermarkets, CSAs, and restaurants throughout the Hudson Valley and New York City 12 months of the year.
