This week's market is the Lexington Farmers' Market, located on Route 42 in Lexington, NY in the Lexington Municipal Building Pavilion.

When:
Open every other Saturday, the dates this year are Sept. 14, 28; Oct. 12, 26, 10am – 12pm. Late Holiday Farm & Gift Market December 8th.
Products:
Goods include craft beer, fruit, maple syrup, maple products, berries, honey, beef, pastured poultry, pork, lamb, eggs, mushrooms, conventional/organic produce, garlic, jams, chutneys and value-added products.

Directions:

From Prattsville east or Hunter west on 23A to Route 42 in Lexington. Route 42 goes through the hamlet and turns left to cross the Schoharie and right again towards Shandaken. Approximately 3 miles from 23A is the Lexington Municipal Building. We meet under the pavilion on the grounds. From Route 28, turn on Route 42, and about 13 miles.

This week's market is the Rock Hill Farmers' Market, located at 223 Rock Hill Drive in Rock Hill, NY.

This week's market is the Saugerties Farmers’ Market located at 115 Main Street, Saugerties, NY.

The Saugerties Farmers' Market runs every Saturday, May 25th through October 26th, from 10am to 2pm.

July 29th to August 4th

This week's market is the Pakatakan Farmers' Market, located at the historic Round Barn on Route 30 in Halcottsville, NY (approximately 5 miles north of Arkville/Margaretville), and runs every Saturday May 18th until October 12th, from 9 AM-1 PM.

The season extension is from October 19th until November 30th – the Annual Holiday Market from 10am-1pm.

Since its inception in 1991, the market has consistently been a popular shopping and socializing spot for local residents, weekenders and even celebrities from near and far.

This season we have 35+ farmers and producers at the market offering a full spectrum of local products including fruit, vegetables, cheese, perennial plants, maple syrup, mushrooms, bread, honey, craft beverages, medicinals, fiber, body care products, iron work, pottery, pasta, local books, grass fed meat, eggs, fermented products, pesto, herbal teas and more. 'Know your farmer' rings true at PFM, where most of the vendors are the producers.

The market is a great place to enjoy breakfast or brunch, as there are many food vendors and picnic tables. The Pakatakan Farmers’ Market is held rain or shine. Out of consideration for everyone, dogs are not allowed at the market. As always, admission is free.

Farmers' Market of the Week: Rosendale

The weekly Rosendale Farmers’ Market, located at the base of Joppenburgh Trail in Willow Kiln Park behind the Rosendale Theatre, 408 Main Street, Rosendale, NY 12472.

Open every Sunday of the month (June 2nd – October 27th) from 10 AM–2 PM, with a full roster of favorite and new vendors. Every market includes conventional and organic products, live music, and quality hands-on children’s activities to keep kids engaged while parents shop and to teach them about healthy foods and the environment.

Our Winter Market will be held on the second & fourth Sunday of the month (December – April) from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm; inside the Rosendale Recreation Center on Route 32.

Products: The Rosendale Farmers' Market features organic, naturally grown, and conventional vegetables and fruits, jellies, jams, pies, mushrooms, eggs, beef, pork, chicken, breads, cheeses, mozzarella, cookies, cakes, maple syrup, wines, fermented products, honey, flowers, baked goods, prepared foods, pickles, – and more!

Farmers' Market of the Week: Liberty

This week's market is the Liberty Farmers' Market, located at Creekside Park 119 North Main Street Liberty, NY. The market is held every Friday from June 14-Sepember 13, Fridays from 3pm-6 pm.

Catskill Mountainkeeper is building a more vibrant and sustainable regional food system that feeds our local communities, supports farmers, and builds our food-related economy at the Liberty Farmers’ Market.

The Liberty Farmers Market is approved for the ‘Farmers Market Nutrition Program’ (FMNP), the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP), the WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Vegetables and Fruit Program and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formally EBT) benefits.

These initiatives provide eligible recipients with vouchers that can be used for the purchase of fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from approved farmers' markets around New York. The purpose of these programs is both to increase the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables among low income, disadvantaged residents, including seniors and women, infants and children, as well as to increase awareness within the recipient community about the availability and benefits of fresh, local food.
