The Catskills Fiber Festival

Sunday, September 15, 2019
11:00 to 16:00

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, 200 Hurd Rd, Bethel, NY 12720

The festival will be showcasing the many fiber farms, fiber enthusiasts and makers in the area. New York is well known for its dairy farms, but it also has some terrific sheep, goat, llama and alpaca farms. And of course the farms that have a menagerie of chosen animals. The area is home to fabulous weavers, spinners, knitters, felters, quilters, and designers. Locals already know the Hurleyville Makers Lab, the Woodland Spinners and Weavers, the Rosehaven Mill in Bethel, Duke Pottery and the fiber farms. The Sullivan Catskills has always been a wealth of creative innovative people! Lots to do for kids too, animals, exhibits, and hands on demos.

The event is free but there is a $3 parking fee.

Make a weekend of your visit to The Catskills Fiber Festival. This year we’re at the Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods for Woodstock’s 50th Anniversary!!! Enjoy the museum exhibits, walk the festival site, and visit the #Woodstock monument at Hurd Road + West Shore Road.
