Bumper Jacksons

The Bumper Jacksons present an exhilarating repertoire of modern American roots music, featuring elements of New Orleans swing, roots, bluegrass, and hot jazz.

With three Washington DC Area Music Awards including Best Traditional Folk Band 2013-2014, the five-piece Bumper Jacksons are a virtuosic juggling act pulled off by performers at the top of their game.

Following the success of Sweet Mama, Sweet Daddy, Come in, the band’s newest album, Too Big World, features high energy swing numbers, heartbreak ballads, and late-night moonshine foot-stompers.

This engagement of Bumper Jacksons is funded through the Mid Atlantic Tours program of Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
